Hearing locations

Hearings are conducted by members from the same EI Board of Appeal (BOA) region as the appellant, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

If you opt for an in-person hearing, it will be held at the nearest Service Canada office that provides in-person services for your region. All details, including the hearing location, will be provided in your Notice of Hearing letter.

To determine your region, refer to the table below, which identifies current hearing locations for in-person hearings. These locations may change based on Service Canada office capacity updates.

For hearings held via videoconference or teleconference, members assigned to the same EIBOA region as the appellant will hear the appeal. You can participate in these hearings from your home or any other suitable location, while the EIBOA members may attend remotely.
